CHARACTER FLUID

Range. Redefined.

Thomas Ochoa (he/she) is a character actor for a generation beyond binaries.

With roots in comedy and a sharp instinct for tone, they take on roles that blur lines, flip expectations, and play with gender itself.

Not just androgyny, but characters that bend, reclaim, and explode traditional ideas of gender, power, and comedy.

From razor-tongued outsiders to femme villains, from wildcard besties to alpha eccentrics.

Thomas doesn’t just play characters — they reframe how we see them.

Thomas has trained extensively in comedy at UCB Los Angeles and Actors Comedy Studio, and has written and pitched multiple original comedy pilots.

Before moving to Los Angeles, they earned a B.A. in Architectural History from Arizona State University.

Thomas is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA serving on both the National and Los Angeles Local Boards.

As a labor activist, Thomas is a founding volunteer of Auditions Are Work and has been featured in The New Yorker, Jacobin Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Indiewire, LAist, The Wrap; on NPR and More Perfect Union.
